TJ said my last update was too emo. And I agree, it was indeed emo. So here I am redeeming myself. I don't even know what I'm here to blog about...but just sitting in a Starbucks put me in a "New Weblog Entry" mood.
I think I might be the only person who buys a cold drink on a rainy day. I tend to over-dress myself by wearing layers and layers of clothing because I know it's cold outside. And being overly prepared for the chilly weather makes me feel a little stuffy, so I buy a cold drink to balance it out. Get it??? Actually, I rarely buy hot drinks. Unless weather.com completely LIES to me and I'm freezing because I'm not dressed accordingly, I always get a cold drink. Today's drink of choice: Iced Chai Tea Latte w/ soy. Lavvvvin' it right now. And I like to drink it super cold, so I shake around the ice and swirl the drink with my straw every 2 minutes.
WHY THE HECK DO I ALWAYS TALK ABOUT COFFEE-BASED BEVERAGES WHEN I UPDATE MY XANGA?!?!
My worst nightmare is about to come true-- I might need to get my wisdom teeth pulled soon. I don't know why but I've always dreaded it my whole life. I've never had to endure a serious toothache or a root canal or anything, so I feel like my pain tolerance is going to be ridiculously low. Some people say it doesn't hurt at all though, maybe I'll be one of the lucky few. I've been getting headaches and my jaw/teeth feel kinda sore-- those are the signs right?? If not, I might just be grinding my teeth when I sleep at night...
I'm not over my korean music stage yet. In fact, it got worse. I've been listening to Fly to the Sky, Clazziquai, SG Wannabe, Epik High, and the Stairway to Heaven soundtrack. I understand I'm like 4 years behind (HAHA) but I don't mind it. Honestly, I don't even catch half the things they're saying and I don't know what they look like. I genuinely just like the music. Hahaha, I'm listening to "Let it Rain" by Epik High (how appropriate, right?) and during the rap portion of the song he says "hand-i-pone" instead of handphone. Who even says handphone these days??? Oh well, it's a good song. Oh my gosh, next song playing is "Umbrella" HAHAHA. I think I instinctively like songs that have to do with rain.
I think it's really cute when parents take their kids to Starbucks or Barnes to do their homework with them. It's like indirect bonding. Instead of leaving their kids to work on their homework alone in their room, they go together and sit at the same table to get work done. I wanna do that with my kids. [God-willing] hopefully whatever career I have allows me to do so.
Okay, I am thoroughly satisfied this entry. I will leave you with a picture of the loves of my life.
No matter what happens, I need to keep in mind that my life is a blessing.

| There are a lot of things I want to say. For the past couple of days, I've been opening up this new weblog entry page but I ended up with nothing or I just hit the "private" bubble.

| I might need to reconsider my devotion to Starbucks. I recently found out that all Coffee Bean stores have "Totally Free Wi-Fi" and outlets for laptops to be plugged in all over the store. I don't know much about their drinks, but I know they make them SUPER HOT, which I love cause it stays hotter longer. So anyway, I'm here at Coffee Bean during my winter break and I feel so relaxeddddd. Before leaving the house to run errands today, I watched 2 episodes of Coffee Prince and just lounged around the house till about 3pm. I'm cherishing every minute of my break and I'm trying to do things I can't do while I'm in school like visit friends at their colleges, clean out my drawers, sit in a bookstore to look at magazines because I have no studying to do, video chat till 4am, and the list goes on.
Oh yeah, and Happy New Year! I have 2 resolutions. Even though I've never completely followed through with a resolution before, there's no hurt in trying. The first one is to read the Bible more. In fact, I bought an ESV Study Bible before getting to Coffee Bean cause I had a 40% of coupon to Borders (HAHA) and cause sometimes the translations are way different and word on the street is that ESV is more accurate. One of the biggest turn offs to reading the Bible is that I don't understand it. So hopefully, this will break down that barrier or at least relieve some of the hesitation. And the second resolution, you can just ask me yourself =P
Lately I've been really into korean entertainment. I had this urge to watch a korean drama during winter break, which is why I'm watching Coffee Prince right now. It's an old drama but I heard it's really good and so far I really like it. And then I downloaded that 2 Big Bang songs that I'm hearing EVERYWHEREEEE (Haru Haru & Lies). So strange, but I like it =)
Doesn't the guy on the way left look like Chris Ko in that picture? Hahahah.
